It appears to have been worked collectively with the nearby Sulphur Hill
mine. By its end, the total production of the Andover Mine and Sulphur Hill
Mine was 400,000 tons. Entering the main adit, this view can be seen. Hematite and magnetite ore was hauled through the tunnel from the mine's underground operation. |
