Facing northeast and in the opposite direction of the previous slide, the flooded shaft can be seen. Miner CT Mike stands on two rails leading directly into the inclined shaft which deeps as it heads southwest. Behind him are caved granite blocks which obscure the mine railway. Ancient stulls float lifelessly on the water. |
