The ore was raised by 3 ton skip cars, dumped into a storage chamber and metered from multiple chutes into ore cars. |
The ore was transported for a time via narrow gauge track to a spur of the Sterling Mountain Railway. The ore was then shipped to the magnetic concentrating mill at the nearby Lake Mine.
There is archeological evidence to support the construction of a magnetic concentrating mill on the site of the Scott Mine. However, no information is available whether it was in use or ever completed as the mine appears to have been closed in 1923.
