Present day remains include a large open cut leading to a cavernous stope
containing a few hundred tons of ore in pillars and unmined magnetite in
a natural outcrop. There is also a small crosscut into the outcrop. A mine researcher stands just inside the entrance to one of the stope cavities in front of a backdrop is gigantic pillars. |
