Well we are bringing a surprise anniversary locomotive (hint built in Pa.)

We are getting the final touches completed this week.

A side dump car that has been rebuilt in our shop as well as regauged.

A rare original wood style rock car used in deep mines in Western Pa in the Bituminous fields

A complete rail line which we are driving all the rail & supplies out on Sunday (3rd) & constructing it on the same day.

Our display booths & exhibits.

SHOULD BE LOTS OF FUN :D

Well we are back home & dead tired.

The last week we were pulling off (7) 21 hour days to get everthing completed

The only thing we can all say that attended was WOW.

:D The weather was perfect

:D The attendence was 3 times the projected estimated 25,000-30,000 people

:D The best show we have ever attended.

Give us a little time we took 3 GB of pictures and movies to share with everyone.

Special thanks to everyone ( a long list that will be added soon)

 The best part was our working display was in the grand central station area front row center with the shovels.

I would have to agree, that is really a very complete fully operational display. Bulldozers, shovels, ore cars, rail, and the rest. Very impressive shots... And to think you guys built the track just for the display.

For those who haven't seen the photos, see pictures here...

Building the track was just as bad as just transporting everything there. We had (2) guys laying & spiking the rail & one other bolt it together with that crew we can do about 100 ft an hour completed. The track was built as 42" gauge but now with a talk of expansion by the group hosting the show we will more than likely change the gauge to 36". We happen to have several more gas/ diesel powered locomotives to choose from. This was a test track to see how everyone would like it & the responses back from the H.C.E.A. have been great as well as all of yours. :D

We also have lots of pictures of all the surface mining working exhibits. We can post one more bank of pictures if everyone wants to see them.
We are primarily deep miners but I do have to say that is some cool equipment.
