well guys had another great work session tonight. got the new steel bottom bolted on and the wood cut for the top. later this week banks and i are going to measure up the steel supports and mounts, drill them, paint them and get them ready for installation on monday. tonight we even had the help from banks' sister, i think she has a thing for mine cars....... see labor day party.

the only pieces of steel on planes is the landing gear...... other wise they would only be fast funny looking cars  actually banks and i were there friday night till 8 pm after work putting in the shift to get them ready to install today, since we were working at the mine all weekend. also painted them friday night.

Friday night chris measured for the drill holes and once we drilled we painted them.. then last night I flipped them and painted the back sides.. and tonight mike and Chris did most of the mounting while I sat in the mine car occasionally putting a nut and washer on bolts that would happen to pop through the wood at me.
..did I mention that chris measured for the drill holes on friday?

it's amazing-it bears a striking resemblance to the mine cars used at the Shlamole Ice Company's #23 Tunnel.
