Is your fuel tank leaking?

I have one that leaks too. I haven't taken it apart far enough to see what is supposed to seal the wick adjuster and striker. I probably wouldn't use it till I got that fixed.

I have a stupid question. Couldn't you solder it up where it was leaking?

Be careful that you don't overfill the fuel font. If you do it will leak from the wick adjustment. Fill with fuel until you can just see the fuel in the opening. If the font is full of packing the you should shake excess fuel from the font, close it up and then light it up. Good luck.

Most likely it's a bad seal of some sort causing the leak, not a crack that could be soldered.

Try scoring with a glass cutter before heating it.

Ok got the glass in I used a tall grave yard candle diameter real close and used a tile cutter to cut the hight and belt sander to grind the edges
