Hey Guys,

I visited this site (The Old Gold Mine) today with my son. I read the brass plaque near the bridge that has a brief history of the area, and a gold mining reference, but I couldn't find the mine. There was a large steep brook, the trail surrounded by steep cliffs & many blown down trees. but no noticeable mining activity. I walked the trail from Black Bridge Rd. (start) to the bridge over the river. Interesting area to hike, but not a lot of mining activity to be seen from the trail.

Thanks,
Mike Maz
