Is it on the 5:00 news also, or just 11?

There is already an online poll about the Huber Breaker. The question is:

Is the Huber Breaker an eyesore or a piece of our areas mining history that should be preserved?

http://www.wyouonline.com/

Anyone who wants to add their opinion to the poll, feel free. The breaker can use your support.

There is also a little blurb about tonights news report:

11:00 - January 8
Huber Breaker-Scrap It or Save It?

The debate continues over whether the Huber Breaker in Ashley should be dismantled and sold for scrap or saved. Someone tried to set fire to a section of it on Sunday. Tonight at 11, we will be speaking to two members of "The Underground Miners" group about the debate.

well thats over. man, im glad bill best was there. i wouldnt have wanted to answer some of those questions. but i think it was all good. alot of the callers were cool and wanted to see it saved, but some of those guys were nuts wanting it to be torn down. i guess everyone has their opinion. we were bs ing with the reporters for a bit afterwards and some of the crew. that blond girl, the dude who did the thing with us and the weather man. the 3 of them want a tour of the breaker as well as a special tour of pioneer. they want to make a wyou day down at the mine. that will be cool.

It was definately good, I couldn't believe some of those guys that wanted it torn down, it got me pissed! haha but anyway I hope evertone put their vote in on the poll and to bad they didn't let you guys talk a little bit more and say about how grandparents aren't going to be able to show their grandkids where they worked or what they did. But it was all good, just hope that the poll goes up and the preservation side and not the eyesore side, once it's done, it will no longer be an eyesore, it'll be a portal in history, the advertising for the website was good to, it shot up with around 40 hits in the past 20 minutes.

I also forgot to mention I like the comment the blonde said when the news cast first started "it feels like a mine outside because of how cold it is" haha, I laughed to myself about that one

hehehehe nooooooooo doubbt.. It's funny when you're there becasue it's like they're rushing like crazy through everything....... it doesn't really seem like it on TV but it seems to go sooo fast when you're sitting there on the set. That was way cool. I managed to get a sentence in  ..it was good.

Very good job Chris and Banks! With the input you provided and the Huber Preservation Society, it will help keep the public opinion positive about the breaker. With the public behind you, it may allow for the town of Ashley and the owner of the Breaker to come to a deal on this. This could all be end up being a very positive event for the breaker.

well i dont know about flawlessly, i admit i was a taste nervous. but it was pretty cool to be there doing a live show and seeing how it was done. candice-the blonde reporter and the news guy were right across from us. that was cool to watch them and then the news guy did the green screen thing, that was cool seeing how they put that together as its going on. not only being on camera live but editing live as they go! i didnt know there was so much involved in a newscast and i have alot of respect for those people. and also i cant believe how fast a half hour went by.
