though these engines are simple, it would probably take quite a bit of work and money becasue the boiler (among other things) would need to be replaced... you'd need a shop to work in with some sort of crane to lift the saddle tank off and the boiler out to replace it. a lot of parts are going to be hard to find too...........but hey, if the museum wanted to give it up it would be worth trying! Pioneer tunnel has 2 Vulcan 0-4-0s. They only operate one though due to expences and a need for more track. They know old vulcan lokies inside and out!
