 Post subject: Coal mines in Wyoming county

Was there ever any mines out this way? I remember seeing a few mentions online when I was looking up stuff on the DL&W railroad when I first moved out here in 2005 but not much else.

some semi anthracite nortwest of tunkhannock, around forkston. might be something up there worth checking out :wink:
