Those are great shots! I'm surprised that the inspectors have not made them cut some of those out. Pete is that mine in the Pittsburgh seam? They usually leave one foot of cap coal on top and one foot of coal on the bottom this keeps the top together and the bottom from busting up in that seam. Gotta love large scale SOFT coal mining.

That is one of the big boy mines 18 miles from the river to the face underground. The reason you have mud is because your pumps are broken This is how the professionals do it.
