thats right! nothing like a fat rudder! they are not quite as wild as a pitts but we'll get there.... oh yes we will....... gotta work up to that. since ive been flying the extra 300 is shows just how sloppy i am at certain maneuvers. the extra is easy to do aerobatics in, its hard to do aerobatics good in. gotta work on alot of my precision. coordination in point and slow rolls. pulls in loops and cubans, however according to my mentor..... hes not a CFI....... i do a great vertical line. they say its hard to hold a good vertical line. i think thats easier to do than a perfect loop.... to each his own i guess! you need to perfect the loop roll and snap before advancing since almost every other maneuver is based upon those to some degree.

You're doing real good if you're handling a 300 right off. Not the easiest plane to learn aerobatics in. The Cap 10 is a good place to start. The extra is a very unstable plane, which makes it such a good performer.

BTW, where is our newly-appointed moderator? We've been talking planes for 24 hrs now in the coal mine section. :P

Seems to be a topic that several folks here are able to speak. Personally, I'm better at discussing A/C with Cat names. But, the others are interesting too.

Updating the website on Friday with a new mine. Have 2 more to add in the future. The one I'm putting up friday is/was located in the southern field has been recently strip mined through. We were in here years ang and were holding off putting it on the site because of its high profile location and afraid it would tempt others to go inside with active blasting nearby. Stay tuned. Been awhile since an update with an old mine on our website!
