I'm trying to read the inflection and back meanings.

It's tough with a four word post

But, all in good fun I guess.

Pete,

From Columbus to the "Region" what is the best route?

I was thinking I-70/Turn pike, but the Nuvi is saying I-80.

Any thoughts?

Directions to the Region:

Take I-70 to Pa then south on Toll Road 43 there are coal mines north & south of 70 for hundreds of miles. 8) 8) 8) 8)

-----------
To the Anthracite area:

We always run the Pa turnpike to 81

From Columbus to Harrisburg is about 5-1/2 to 6 hrs
Then you have 2 to 2-1/2 hrs from there

80 is flat & boring,

The turnpike rates have gone up & I am not going to be much of a help rate wise because we are class 2 & somewhere like $25.00 bucks now each way.

I-80 E. to 22/322, down through the narrows. I wouldn't know how to cut back east from there though. The narrows is a fun ride, except for in an 18.

Yep. I used to have to run 80 from Toledo over to the Williamsport region.

well if your coming from ohio to anthracite region- depending on where in ohio- if your on I-80 you shouldnt take 322, it adds another 2.5 hours or so onto your trip

Wrong way then.

Anyway, I was thinking of bringing some catering from Subway along for the day.
Let me know what everyone likes.
