Went in to PA and got my grandfather talking about his baseball career before he went down the mines.

Right off the 81/turnpike exit (Pittston exit) there is a car lot. Pollocks. It used to be Lispi's. Apparently there was a mine there, called Lispi's and under the Hudson Coal Company name. That is where the Hudson coal company came from, I'm not crazy. He worked there first as maintenance before he got into Enterprise as a laborer and eventually miner.

Anyhow, anyone know anything about that Lispi hole? Pics, maps? Still searching for Enterprise info in Plains Twp too.

Awesome! That would be sweet. I'm hoping I can print them so I can have him circle where he worked on the maps.
