My Aunt used to go to Johnson School on N.Main St across from the Marvine in the late 1920s. She passed away last fall. I'm sure she would have had some stories about the Marvine as My Grandfather was a Foreman for the Hudson Colliery in Jermyn & may have known some of the Marvine Miners who worked there. Who knows? Anyone know what year the Hudson Colliery was torn down in Jermyn or has photo's of the demolition? Let me know. Thank You.
