i've seen a few of these.. Although i'm not sure why one would need a ridiculously huge reflector like that for your head, it makes me wonder if they stuck these lamps on the back of the last car on a trip of mine cars. That reflector makes for a big wind sheild, and if you were looking at it head on (from behind the trip) it would be more visible and not look like just a man in the tunnel to another approaching trip in a main haulage tunnel.......

just a thought..

I just bought 2 of these along with 3 other justrite carbide and 1 no name carbide lamp these were for mules from what i understand. I think i saw a post card of them onetime. one reflecter lamp i have has a brassone like the pic and is 7.25 in the other has a mirror finish and is 7 in. they acted as headlights.
