I have never been on a mine tour. Claustrophobic. BUT... I plan to go on one. You know, a "face your fears" thing?

Seldom Seen is a neat little tour, but the actual tour is pretty short. Down the gangway, into two rooms and back out. However, their outside equipment display is very good as are the replica buildings. Also, the mine has quite a few neat " off limits" areas that are untouched since before 1962.

Yea that string of cars back in the old workings at seldom seen is pretty neat. Number 9 has some cool stuff off the tour. The second level is pretty neat with a little steam hoist and all the trolley wire intact. Also back behind the mule down the tunnel farther is about 6 derailed mine cars. Pt has no place you can go off the tour, but since we timbered half that mine I'd say it's my favorite. 190 has probably the most area accessible off the tour. But really nothing really to see except old workings.
