i have been told dont know if its true or not but is it possible to take the miner cord from the box and splice it with a wall charger for a cell phone and charge the light

I wouldn't recommend it. Some of those chargers are square wave designed for s pecific type of battery and may not even charge your battery at all. Best way to do it yourself is to get a variable power supply on line. Use the gator clips to clip onto the batt terminal (remove the cover) and clip a meter in line with it, one lead pos one neg. Charge at 4.7V DC exactly. Going to 5V like the cell chargers will kill the lifespan of you battery.

I see you found all the others too, Doug. Man, they come from all over. This one really is from China, yet i got nothing. It's a mine light. Not something stupid like those indian wedding dresses or patio heaters. I can't trash mine lights. Well, maybe . . . .
