does the dep know that amd is seeping into the creek near the dam upstream from pine ridge 34? there used to be life there now theres nothing and over the last 2 summers u could notice the orange rocks. i think someone should call.

yes i saw one listed on their website, something about a mill creek drainage. not sure if its coming out of a mine, or run off coming off the culm pile. i do know there is a mine full of water draining across from the concrete one up the river by the swimming area. however...... amd running into a stream........ welcome to northeast pa.

the headwaters of mill creek are up in the Morea Colliery just north of I-81. it drains the small coal basin between the prison and new boston. there isn't any coal between wolf creek and 81 so i looks kinda strange to see AMD when there arn't any signs of mining around.

it flows right through the pine ridge mountain tunnels. one of them is draining into the river. not much but there is seepage.
