so i guess there was a fire in a potash mine in canada that trapped 72 miners. they went to an area in the mine that had food, water and O2 for 3 days. the crews battled the fire, won and got the miners out. i guess the area the mine covers is over a hundred miles. saw it on the news, but dont see it on any headlines on any sites. from what ive seen potash is a low grade of coal i guess thats used in fertilizer. they mine it in room and pillar method using a continous miner. which doesnt make sense from the way a continous miner works but thats what they said. unless they ment longwall mining. oh well, you know the media. later
