stopped by the mine fire today. it has spread under the sewer line and road. it now burns on the other side of the access road.

Nice.. Good to see that they are hard at work trying to put this one out..

When are they going to do something with this before it goes to the point of no return? It seems like it is starting to get there..

Which vein is this in anyway?

I wonder what effect this will have on the mine pool? This is on top of a hill, but it doesn't seem like water seems to stop these from burning...

That sucks that it spread to two beds already..

actually i found this out about the 2 veins last time i mentioned it at osm, just forgot to post it. supposedly it was always in them as they both outcropped close to each other under that pile. as for the mine pool, i believe this mine has its own mine pool. not sure about that though. theres water in the bottom of the boreholes and the steam coming from the ground means its hitting water somewhere. but its well above the main northern field pool. hundreds of feet actually. that is if the water in the boreholes is a pool and not just trapped water in a tunnel or workings.
