Some pretty good pictures. Too bad their storage battery locomotive isn't as clean as yours.

Hopefully I'll be able to watch the show tonight. Been pretty busy over this past weekend.

Just watched the show last night. What I liked about it was that they show some of the true deal with coal mining ... up the shoots and into the workings. Pretty neat. Must be lots of coal left down there as it appears they are only first mining it..

i liked the show but they didnt explain how the anthracite mining is literally almost extinct, he explained how coal is huge with electricity, ya thats obviously true but not anthracite. they didnt explain thats the case why its such a small operation, etc.

Dirty Jobs generally doesn't explain a huge amount about the job, they spend more time showing the worse parts of the job and making Mike do all of the work. That was still a pretty good episode, enjoyed it a lot.

It is almost like Adam is operating that Mucking machine via a remote control from his video operation station in the mine!

They're going really good.... Sundays are boring becasue not a lot of people are coming up yet. We have 2 new area football teams - The Scranton Miners, and the Schuylkill county Coal Crackers - both of which were at the mine on Saturday, along with their cheerleaders 8) I'd like to have one of them as my assistent. It was busy that day. Anyone see that on the local news? (16)
