Deep Miner,

The pictures of those tunnels look pretty cool. Do you have any information on them? What kind of tunnels are they?

beaudry tunnel its the same like the wellinton tunnel.

Tunnel beaudry
1895-1970

the tunnel was built in 1895 by P.W. George.
the tunnel was built to facilitate the carriage of merchandise between the Port and the st-antoine street. The tunnel is closed since probably the years 1970, since the automobile network developed on the st-antoine street. The tunnel is built according to a long brick arch with a keystone out of stone. The arch with an approximate height of 12 feet. A passage raised for pedestrians is western side.it is regarded as archeological site to protect.

this is the map of the tunnel.
Image my favorite picture of the tunnel

Very nice shots there Deep miner! I've always been interested in R.R. and transportation tunnels. I especially like 19th century tunnels lined in either brick or stone.

Those are some impressive shots. I'd have to admit. I would also agree, rail road tunnels are also impressive to me as well. Seen various ones in Northern NJ, we probably should photograph some more for the site.
