Just wanted to give kudos to Miner Mike and Greg for the great site and hard work they put into this. Its without a doubt the best historical web site on mining PERIOD. The research needed to obtain the data on this site took lots of work, lots of time, and lots of networking. The effort is packaged and comes through with a creative, pleasant, and informative website.

You guys keep up the good work, if there is anything I can do to help, ill be more then willing, just give me a hollar!

Thanks for your kind words. We tried our best to put together a site which combines history and information together with a gallery of images to entertain and inform the viewer. We could have written up more detailed descriptions and history of each of the mines, but for what we think our audience is, they may not be interested. This site is to be a history site but to also appeal to the amateur mine researcher and armchair explorer.

For the audience who wants more history and detailed information on each and every mine, we have something else in the works. We still have work to do though..,
