I spent the last month searching for the Illusive Howell/Kitchell mines. What I found is as follows: 1) Howell tailings piles literally 10 ft off of the rd on the right side going down. Can't miss them. 2) test pit about 40 ft from the waters edge on the west side of the reservoir. 3) substantial tailings pile by the old rail bed where it turns north towards the reservoir. 4) and finally, the Charlotsburg mine on the east side of the reservoir. I could use a second opinion if this is what is left of the Kitchell/Howell mines. If you guys have the ambition to check it out, I could send you theGPS coords that took for the sites stated above. I tried to attach some pics to this, but I am not what you would call a computer genius. Or

If all you dont know, Bob is the miner in my recent updates of the Hard and Hope mines.

Bob is also the man I need to thank very much for practically carrying me out of Waterloo when I sprained my ankle. if it wasnt for him I would probably had been Bear food.

Thanks again Bob!
