While there are differences in approaches, all three of those groups are very passionate at what they do and strive to make a difference in preserving mining history. We all have what peaks our interests and ways of doing things. Whether it is Anthracite, Iron, hardrock, or whatever, all types of mining history grabs my interest.. I'm one who is for working with other organizations as it is a way to extend our reaches.

York Mine is certainly closer to home for the UGM guys than it is for our guys, but I certainly think a joint trip between our groups is in order to document the site. Our last group trip was a success, we've got another one coming up soon as well.

Anyone feel free to share what they have as that is what makes this forum a success.
