This sounded like an awesome trip... I'd love to hear the full story!

Mike, what can I say, I am thoroughly impressed! Of course we already discussed the trip by phone I just wanted to put some of my words on the website. Once again, you captured the feeling very well. These mines look lost and forgotten and the desert heat, unforgiving. However, lost and forgotten is always better than forgotten and neglected. Can you imagine prospectors trekking through the 130 degree desert and putting their shovel down in this blistering heat? The lengths at which miners would go in search of mineral wealth never ceases to amaze me!
