I like it! This video was sent to me by a girl I know who wants to do a semester abroad in Aussie land..... pretty awesome! Australia and Canada are 2 of the mining capitals of the world.

PS: CT Mike, check out these land rovers..!

This place is so wild. It is absolutelty in the middle of no where. I only saw the mining operation at night for an hour or so & didn't go underground. It is on the edge of the outback. I remember I was so excited because it took days to cross the outback & this was the first sign of real civilization that I saw. There is also a huge open pit mine operation there too if I remember correctly. It has been a while. I think I was there in 1996 but have always wanted to go back to see it again. It is on the western end of the country near Perth.

Thanks for putting that up Banks.

Yeah thanks Banks for posting that. Yes that does look wild. I'm sure there are tons of stuff like this all over the world. It is all interesting stuff to find. The best is when it is a modern operation over taking an older operation. This way you have pumps keeping the place dry, but the old workings and tunnels are still accessible and dry..
