 Post subject: Music Video Filmed at Sterling Hill

This past summer I was asked to help find a rock quarry that would be amiable to the production of a music video. I suggested the Passaic Pit at Sterling Hill. I think the location worked out well. The music video is now online here:

The thing that looks like an adit in the background is actually the top of a stope! The rest of the stope and the surrounding rock was mined out and the resulting pit filled in to the present grade level.

Did you notice how they can rattle the stones on the ground as they play! I was afraid they'd take the whole mine down! :x

The stone rattling was a special effect. The noise/vibrations/etc weren't bad. People were even able to take naps while they were playing!
