If anyone is interested, I would like to do a final photo shoot at the Laurel Hill Mine after work next week. We have almost enough current pictures to complete the slideshow. Last visit we had some lighting difficulties (not our wheat lamps). When is good for everyone?

Miner Mike,

Any day next week is good for me. It can be as soon as Monday the 22nd if everyone can do it. Miner Z and Miner TR are free to join us. Like you I want to see when all the miners are available. I can help out with the photos if needed. I'm so glad that you mentioned this mine again. It's been awhile since seeing it. I can still remember the first time going into the Laurel Hill Mine. It was one of my first mines explored and I enjoyed the experience very much. Hope to see many miners interested in going.

We first went to Laurel Hill many years ago but only recently began seriously photographing it. It is a good safe mine to visit and an interesting look into 19th century mining on a smaller scale.

Otherwise known as Roomy. Its a neat little mine. I was deep inside it when a team of boy scouts arrived, and i scared the poop outta them.

Let's make one more visit there before I put the slideshow up. For all the visits there, I don't think I quite captured the aura of Laurel Hill Mine.

Frank, I will most certainly let you know. Say, let's see if we can squeeze Laurel Hill and the Hope Mine into the same day?

Franks getting WORKED! LOL! Yeah I was looking forward to doing it Friday or maybe even Saturday. I think I'm going to be working out with Mike at the gym this Friday. I spoke to him last night for a bit and I know that I really should get over there with him. So it's looking more like Saturday. We could always get breakfast early Sat morning and then get out there before the heat comes down on us. Let me know if Saturday will work. Mike had some other ideas to that we should throw around a bit for Sat too! Weather is going to be nice I hear!
