Whoa nice mine! Nice shots too! It was allot larger then i thought it would be.

Did you guys also check out the nearby Canada Mines?

Yes it was a major success thanks to our friends, the CT Miners who helped us mine research some of the "hard to reach" places in order to cover every nick and cranny of the mine.

For those of you who don't know, the Sunk Mine is illustrative of much of the workings at the Hibernia Mine, just on a MUCH SMALLER scale. If you were able to examine the northeast workings of Hibernia today, it would look very similar but larger and the dip would be to the southeast instead of the northwest. Of course now only a haulage tunnel is accessible at Hibernia accessing nothing even near this magntitude thanks to all the reclamation work.
