This coming Thursday-Saturday there will be an academic conference in Bethlehem. Although it deals with the city as a whole, there will be a focus on Bethlehem Steel, contemporary redevelopment, and preservation The event is free and open to the public. On Friday night, it even includes a musical performance featuring a narrative and instrumental piece titled “Dance Of The Coal Cars.â€

I wish I still drove truck across 78 every night.
