Re. Flame Safety Lamps. Is there someone out there that is hording parts for the Koehler 289-1A? I need two Keylock Screws and Keys to finish rehabbing a couple lamps. I have taken the time to draw the part for a machine shop to make them for me, but I thought of asking here first.

Look on ebay and see if they have complete lamps and I have seen parts on there before.

Well I've been watching the auctions for anything I might be able to salvage parts from, but most lamps there are in pretty good condition... too good for parts so I've contracted the parts I need out to a machinist. Maybe we could start a "Parts Page" here on this web site and members could list what they have for others to browse??

Yeah I usually don't see parts for the lamps on EBay. Although once in a while I see lamps on EBay with no glass. Those lamps could be good potential parts lamps. You have to be careful though as I have I've contacted some of those people before. The swear that their lamp didn't use glass, it uses screens instead. Thus they seemed to have a hard time selling them. But I do see some pretty bad lamps on EBay once in a while, it might be worth buying one, cleaning up the parts and using it for your lamp repair.
