Well if nothing else comes up I might try to make it down there. Just for reference the active underground mines are;
Alfred Brown 7ft Slope
Bear Gap Coal Company
FKZ
Little Buck Coal Company has 2 slopes and is in the process of starting up Joliet Coal Companys Slope
B&B Rock Ridge Slope
Orchard Coal Company
Chesnut Coal Company
S&M
D&D (the name was changed and I don't remember what it is now)

Than you have UAE Harmony and Kimmels which are bigger mines.

Was Joliet Coal the one-man mine you mentioned.

I watched the video on " How to speak Heyna." After trying to read the last few post I think I need the advanced course.

So, how does a mine with one guy down and one on the hoist get anything done. Seems like there would be a number of jobs that would require help. Let alone MSHA approval.
