While the old school tractor is definately cool, I have to greatly disagree with the "fords are better than Dodges (notice how i left ford in lowercase). Although I may be able to agree that the build quality of muscle-era Mopars is lacking, (I should know, Ive owned a few, and currenty have one) you cant beat the character those cars had can you imagine a car in todays politically correct era with an engine option called a "six pack" - (this was a 440cu in with 3 2 bbl carbs) as well as the power, I did own one Ford at one time a 92 mustang gt back in the mid 1990s when I was 21.

Six pack..nicccee!

i only get into this debate when it comes to trucks though...the only thing dodge has going for them there is the loud growling cummins. other than the more distinct growl, International 7.3L (in a ford) is just as good.

Krenzel, where does the beaut sit currently?

Right on brian! I had a 1966 Chrysler New Yorker with a 440. It wasn't a muscle car per say but held it's own against what you'd find on wyoming ave. on a friday night  There is something to be said for a car that size that can light em up with 6 americans in the car with the air conditioning on and leaving lil' rich billy driving mommy's acura in the dust! And as far as the fords being better than the Dodges I'm not impressed with what I've seen on fords part at work. Three trannys, injectors, alternators, brakes, steering gear boxes, springs, and a water pump, plus it smokes like a hippy at a dead concert is what i've seen on fords part. But there is a Dodge that just keeps chugging right along, hard starting yes, but starts EVERY time and the only thing that broke since I'm there is the radio! In Fords defense there are a couple of F150's there that have 200k +/- . Nice tractor by the way John, those 9N's are a really nice machine.

Mike youre in ashley right, what did yor chrysler look like, when did you have it, I might have seen it. I had a 74 plymouth Cuda which was painted 96 corvette yellow with a black vinyl roof and my current toy is a 66 dodge coronet Super Stock drag car clone (thats for sale by the way)

I sold the Chrysler 3 years ago at Carlisle. It was a light green hardtop. I used to take it to the cruises on the square in wb. I also made it to a couple of the Pottsville cruises with it.

SADDLE UP SEA BISCUIT. . . . As John posted FORDS are better than dodges.

Not sure if we want to start a truck war again. I will stay out since you are talking about cars but the slightest movement to trucks - - - unleash a hurricane again.

John BTW nice tractor I used to have some extra parts for those but I think I gave them all away.

Look all I know is every truck I have ever owned has always went above and beyond the call of duty, and every one was a Dodge. I've done stuff with the truck I have now that guys won't do with big diesel dualies let alone over and over again.
