That's sweet.

What trackage is CP running in Pa?

The only christmas trains I knew of was down in WVa, Either the old Clinchfiled or was it New River. Maybe one and the same.

CP runs over the old D&H which they bought in the early 90's from Guilaford which put it into bankruptcy. They run Harrisburg to Sunbury over NS. Then Sunbury to Hudson vial the old PC Sunbury main. Also oak Island NJ over NS vial Allentown to Dupont there they get off the R&N . Then over the ex DL&W ( EL) from Taylor to Binghamton via the " cutoff".

Cool. I was out to see it too, I chased it to the overpass in La Plume, near the Agway, then to Nicholson. There sure was a lot of people out to see it this year. The last one I seen in 2006, there was barely anyone out, except in Nicholson.

The line through Nanticoke is the " Sunbury main" owned by CP. But NS has "haulage rights" over it. NS power, NS crews, All CP has to do is dispatch the train, and they get a share of the revenues. Those NS trains run to Albany where they connect with Guilafords ( former owner of D&H) Boston and Maine with traffic bound for New England. Used to haul alot of autos, and parts. Dont know if they still do.
