Now I know what stigma the coal truck drivers have.
I'm just callous to the "average joe" opinion of truckers in general.
Right of way depends on your situation, but if more people knew the rules of the road they'd know that. No one has respect for trucks on the
road anymore, so I know a lot of truckers tend to be jerks. Not professional,
it's just how the industry has gotten since the government regulation of it.
Go figure heyna?

It's nowhere near the lucrative occupation it once was, either.
No money made if those wheels aren't turning. So yeah, a lot of drivers paid by the mile are in a d@mn hurry. Another symptom of industry cr@p.
I get too defensive and I apologize for that post.

Hey Pete, the cowpaths I drive on tend to make me a traffic stopper too.
It's those CRX suckers with two and three locos on it that stop me for a 1/2 hour and make me blood boil!

Nice pic, BTW.
Wait... "BY THE WAY." Wouldn't want to mess with the Murley standard.

If you watch that second video, listen to the interview with the second old-timer there, and tell me i don't understand what miners go through, either.

Cops seek coal thieves who targeted New Castle breaker

BY FRANK ANDRUSCAVAGE
POTTSVILLE REPUBLICAN & HERALD
February 8, 2009

DUNCOTT — Schuylkill County Crimestoppers and state police at Frackville are asking for the public’s help in identifying those responsible for the theft of about 5 tons of coal.

The incident occurred at the St. Nicholas Breaker on Mount Laffee Road, New Castle Township, between 3 p.m. Jan. 26 and 5 a.m. Jan. 27.

It was there that someone arrived at the property owned by Reading Anthracite of Pottsville and stole about four tons of buckwheat coal and a quarter-ton each of pea coal and chestnut coal, troopers said.

Those responsible were able to flee the area undetected.

Schuylkill County Crimestoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information leading to the identification of those responsible for the theft of the coal or any other crime in Schuylkill County.

Callers are asked to refer to incident number 02-08-2009 when calling about the theft at the New Castle Township breaker.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers, toll-free, at 877-TIPS4SC (877-847-7472), or contact state police at Frackville directly at 874-5300. All information received will remain confidential.
