Well, I failed my Federal Mine inspector test Sunday. So, I won't be heading to the dark side anytime soon. I only missed it by one question on the math test. I should have taken it Sat. and come back Sunday. Oh, well.

Thats just as well you seem like you have a bit of morality, you can't have any of that to be a inspector this day in age. By the way, what are the Bitty mines doing with MSHA's tracking requirements? What systems look promising for you guys? Not one currently approved system will work reasonably in a Anthracite mine.

yea what mike is talking about is there was a meeting today with almost all the anthracite miners and some msha "officials" discussing, or arguing about the tracking systems. it will not work in an anthracite mine and they are supposed to be installed by june 9th. :?:

You have to pass the Math test before you take the English test.

Math test for anthracite inspectors:

anthracite equations - how many tons must you put out to keep the mine running?

then a good PA Dutch test. English is for bitters.

I thought the anthracite inspector test would read as follows. When administering medication in a mules rectum how far do you insert the medication? Or how many anthracite miners does it take to change the bits on a continuous miner. A. 1 B. 2. C . What the hell is a continuous miner? Lol....
