Ah yes, another summer winding down. The older I get, the faster they go...

I know the No. 9 probably has their picnic going on.
Any other events we should know about?

I suspect that I will be working in the corn nursery and looking for help.

I took my track car down to Steamtown on my way through Scranton last week and I was invited to bring it to Railfest. Won't be able to run it (big surprise!) static display only...... I might still do it.

Anyway, I was thinking, maybe we need to bring some of the UGM rail collection down there for display..... whaddya think boys?

with a bit of luck and good sailing, this kiwi lad will be arriving in Denver for a bit of serious mine exploration.

i don't think there will be that much foam there, chris.... there won't be anywhere near as much foam as you get at those air shows!!

it would definitely be a good chance to make people more aware of the regions industrial history and maybe make a few connections. ya never know who you might meet there.

maybe the Whitcomb and a mine car? it wouldn't be that hard to move.

of course you'd have to hang out and talk about it. maybe just one day?

I gotta go to an effin' wedding Sat and have to work Sunday, otherwise I'd join ya John! I never seem to be able to get the time off to go to railfest or much else for that matter. Wanted to go to the mine picnic that Sunday too. Not looking too good right now, if I call in sick I'd really be sticking it to one of the other guys pretty bad (double-shift after an 8 hr turn to cover for me).

Ya, we finally got most of that foam up from the air show!
