Question for all the boys working underground like me, whats the best chew you can get ?
And yes I know its a disgusting dangerous dirty habit- sort of like coalmining!!!!!- but like most every miner I enjoy it, and it certinally helps beat the dust!
In Canada all you can buy is REDMAN, which is a good chew , and way better than the hard twist tobacco chewed by Uk coalminers which I never really enjoyed! Im importing the stuff from a mate in Canada, but its hellish expensive at around $11 a pack! See its much cheaper in the states!
Was looking at a couple of sites for US Army personell to order stuff from back home and thought Id ask, what your favourite brand of leaf or wad was, or maybe Im the last of the coal miners with the habit?
Any advice?
cheers lads!

A tin around here is under 3 dollars for skoal/copenhagen. There are many cheaper ones for 2 dollars or so. Not much into buying bags of redman. I like skoal fine cut the best, seems like it gives the best buzz.Been chewing for 4 years now...smpost.net is a site dedicated to chewing tobacco you would probably find a lot of good information on there..

I tried chewing tabacco once or twice, god i hated it. Nowadays I chew nicorette cinnamon 2mg gum,a little expensive though. but flavour lasts up to an hour, but when I get home, I smoke a Canadian Classics White.

Skoal is pretty big up there, as far as what I saw.

Funny story about chew when I was deployed. After a mission, my buddy and I were sitting down getting our gear off. He was spitting into a red gatorade and and I was drinking a red gatorade. Guess what happened? I was more sick from drinking someone elses spit then I was being in 135+ degree weather w/ full battle rattle. Ehhhh.....
