What percent of homes in NEPA are still heating with coal? I know it would be difficult to put a hard number on it, But from discussion it appears to be somewhat common.

If it like wood stoves are here in the midwest they are more common in the rural areas.

yeah, i'd have to say its prob at least that for wood burners by me too... walk outside on a cold morning headed to work and it smells like a wood fire... i don't even mind it.. in fact i think it smells good!
