I just caught the last ten minutes of so. But history channel had modern disasters.Think the following happened in 92 or 93. Evidently a company was replacing pilings on the river. Due to logistical problems they had to place the pilings three feet from there original location. Doing so they were closer to the tunnel under the river. A huge crack formed and one of the walls atually gave way. A fibre optic company discovered the breach while doing routine work in the tunnel, video taped it, and gave ti to the agency involved. The tunnel had not yet been flooded as the sand held back the river. There was a typical beaucratic screw up and the video tape and problem were lost . Seven months after the breach was noticed a whilrpool was noticed in the river. To late.......basements that were once connected to the tunnel system were flooded. The river broke through. Long story short. the " disaster" cost 1billion(?) dollars when all was said and done. When they said how big the whilrpool was ( three feet in diameter) I just thought evidently they never saw the footage of Knox !!
