Recently there has been alot of activity in Scranton involving 2 sets of EMD F Units The Two RDG FP7's and the Two DL&W F3's.

The FP7's just ran their first trip of the season as one of the DL&W units paint job is complete.

Are they Steamtown's, or on loan?

Been there quite a while, like since last year at least? I can't remember last time I drove through but I remember seeing them. Gorgeous stuff. Who's running them?

Steamtown Qualified crews are operating them. RCT&HS mechanical staff is overseeing the operation by the crews. Yes they showed up last November or so in Scranton.

In my opinion the only thng Id enjoy seeing more would be a Santa Fe PA, and a D&H livery PA. A few years ago it was said ( factual) that the DL was supposed to cosmetically restore one for the Smithsonian. If only it had been.....

I'd come down and watch them if i knew when they were running. I saw some guys working on them when Amy and I went down last fall. If they're going to run trips with them I'd def have to come down for one.
