Hello, I haven't been on in a while but I recently saw that you updated the site and included info on the Sparta Mine. I am very interested in the secondary mineralization of Lead, Copper, and Uranium Deposits especially those that are local. Could someone please provide me with directions to the mine?Where are the veins occur that best yield samples of altered ore? The Sparta mine is fascinating especially since CrO4 anions are prfesent in the rocks (hence Vaquelinite) and there may even be a possibility of the rare mineral Crocoite occuring there. Please E-Mail me at jeremy@therockgeek.com with directions to the mine. If anyone wishes to accompany me for my search of peculiar minerals ther, that would be great too!
