Post subject: Disney World or Land?
PostPosted: Fri Sep 10, 2010 1:44 pm
I have been having a debate for quite some time now with my friends. Which do you prefer: Disneyland of California or Disneyworld of Florida?I know that the castle is bigger at disneyworld and the park is more crowded, and I also know the rides are longer at disneyland but is the original.

Post your thoughts.

dont forget also disney world has 4 parks, 2 water parks, the downtown disney complex with resterauts and clubs, and all there hotels. disneyland is only one parkwith little pieces of some of disneyworlds atratcions. and with the exption of magic kingdom which is the florda replica of disney land, all of the other 3 parks(hollywood studios, epcot, and animal kingdom) rides are origanl to disney world.ex. they recently built a tower of terror in disney land....sorry it was a bit extensive but ive been to world 6 times and newt is to amusment park as chris murley is to airplanes and or coal mines!

Try not to forget that Disneyland was built when Mickey was in his early 20's ( the mid-50's) . Disney World was build twenty years later, and has never really stopped building.

ok if im not mistaken disneyland was open on july 1st 1955. disney world opend as just magic kingdom in 1971,followed by EPCOT in 82, hollywood studios in 89, and finally animal kingdom in 98. today the entire walt disney world resort is the worlds largest recreational resort covering about 30,000 acres or about 47 square miles.

......uh ok im not trying to start an argument im saying under geneal dissscussions it says " for any other topic" not "anyother topic about mines" and if it did ok thats what i will talk about. i thought this was the area for people to just have nice chats about random goings on... not everything needs to be about mines

Well for what my 2cents are worth, I say Disneyland although I base that on my one and only visit there on my first trip to the States back in '82.
Big Thunder Mt runaway mine train for a rollercoaster, had a heck of a lot of mining and lumbering artifacts scattered around. To me, wide-eyed and impressionable, all of which reinforced the links to the "old west" that I had read about.

Chris,
in New Zealand.......

You know, this was a good debate.. I'm taking a look at this post, it was from a spammer selling Viagra. This was certainly a good spam trick as it starting off a pretty good debate..

Since the thread is funny I am keeping it, but I have removed the links and the user.

Amazing what these guys come up with..

I think another good spam trick would be:

Whats better oil or gas?

Or better yet, whats better Bity or Anty?
