its back there tony. its set up by the pool on a very short circle. at least it was last year.

now hold on tight im going to date myself here......... i vividly remember everything in all of those photos! we used to walk there every other weekend in the summer from my grandmas. the brooks mine was open at the time as well with that steel bar gate on it. i could squeeze through the gate but my grandma wouldnt let me. said it went for miles and id get lost. well finally in 2000 we got in it and we found that to be a bit of an over estimation......

The train is/was at Nay Aug again. It was set up but rides were scarce. Ashley has been taking her niece and nephew to the park many times last & this year during M-F daytime hours. She said most of the time there was no one to operated it. About two months ago while walking at the park, I checked it out and discovered all the track was ripped up and "thrown" into a pile. I hope the engine doesn't end up in a field for 10 years again!!

tony im 90 percent sure knoebels didnt buy thecoaster from rockey glen. i think you got things alittlemessed up. The phoenix was originaly from a park in san antonio and it was called the rocket. and the twister was as far as i kno mosly original i think based somewhat of of an older coaster called mr. twister. flying turns is compleatly original as for layout anyway. there where flying turns style coaster but they have all been didmantled and or no longer in existance. which is why its taking so long to get everything right because there are no plans to copy from. when its finishe it wil be the only flying turns style coaster in the world. and finally the black diamond will be a original/rebuild of a gold mine ride that i cant remember where it came from that will be an indoor coaster built to reseble and anthracite coal mine to pay tribute to the areashistory...some of the cars used on the antique cars came from rockey glen tho. as far as the comet goes. the only park around here that has a coaster named that is at hersheypark

The train pictured is an MTC G-12. I believe it was later replaced with a G-16 which is larger and more scale-looking. I'm reaching into childhood memories here, so if the one they brought back was the G-12 let me know. I will have to do some digging on it because there are a few g-16s for sale.

cool pics of an old park, I went to ghost town in the glen, only to find it closed several years before. I was working near the old green pine dragway last week, mostly gone but still noticable

Ya, the Glen closed late 80s early 90s. I think it was like 1988. No idea wher that trizzane went. Looking further into the Nay Aug pics, they do in fact have a later train, first with a silver color, then red-white-blue. Prob went through several paint schemes, but it is in fact the larger gauge (and larger size) MTC G-16, that replaced the MTC G-12 pictured earlier. Ha! I'm I'm not even from the Heyna Valley!
