Chris,
Like any other day.............. I don't know much      . I thought Hazelton Shaft still had something up. I just thought it would be great to use that technology to preserve anything that is still up before it eventually meets the wrecking ball.

Nice job! The videography feels very smooth and well controlled. Has the film been sped up or slowed down? Would it require great skill to fly it underground?

The outside stuff is real time, the inside stuff was slowed down and sped up depending on the clip. It wouldn't be harder in a mine than it was in the breaker! He's editing another one with some behind the scenes clips too. The problem with flying it in the mine is I don't think you could put a bright enough light on it for the gopro, probably wouldn't be able to lift it. It's getting to max capacity with the camera gear on it. What you need is this:

This thing is cool!!!

Ps, remember when I flew that rc helicopter in that mine years ago? Wonder where those pics are.......

The Ghost is real cool, I guess I'll have to add the to the list.

And yellow helmet. that must have been real early, maybe pre AMR days.

heres two videos from that day in their entirety. they were flown first person around the breaker. this quad copter is not set up for aerial photography, as can be seen with the shaky video. there is no stabilization or gyros on it. its more for fun, ripping around first person view flying. the first one is me flying, the second is my buddy jim flying........

Ever think about doing any shaft descending videos? So long as the antenna is over the shaft, you might be able to get some interesting video so long you don't hit the water level!

But what if the shaft is deeper than the range of the drone, and you don't know when it will run out? You will lose it.

Uh it would be much easier to lower a camera down on a rope  C'mon Greg ;)

Dave, you wouldn't loose range trust me ;)

Yeah but dropping a camera down on a rope is a lot less fun... Plus you'd never get the smoothness as good.
