Very good stuff. You will also give that flat car some color being out in the rain and the sun. A few months after the water damage, it should be looking historic..

I doesn't look like the wooden ramps worked out bad..

no, the wooden ramps worked out real well actually. also the flanges didnt really gouge them up like i thought they would. we can put this car to work! this is the one out of all of our cars that will be getting run the most im going to assume. we should have built this one with the roller bearings instead of the next coal car. oh well. we'll have to just keep the plain bearings well oiled.

Well if you keep the pace going you will have to bring the battery powered locomotive back to push the work train!!!

the guy who runs the saw mill we get our wood from, henry of lake carey lumber (right) stopped by the facility today to check out what we have been doing. ran the motor around for him and let him see what he has provided for us. heres him and his son inlaw infront of the flat car he supplied us the wood for. so far he has provided all of our ties, the wood for the steel and wood car (the first one did) 4 years ago, motor bumpers, the flat car, and now the ugm coal co. car. it was perfect timing, the snow/rain we were getting stopped for an hour when he arrived, the sun came out and it was just like it was made to happen :D
