Any known access issues (Police etc.) if you are seen at this colliery?

Also, a few miles after driving past the colliery, on the right hand side,(traveling 81s) I saw what looks to be a water filled mine area. You can see a old broken down truck only yards from the interstate. Saw some mining slope like feature on the left hand side but could not see any defining land features to give you guys a better idea. I'm sure someone knows what this is im talking about.

Was astonished, looked pretty cool.

Thanks for the info!

well...... huber is on private property, however we have been going there for 9 years now with no trouble. not implying people should go poke around, there are dangers there, and there are ways to get in there legally. i can give you a contact for that.

Be carefull up there. Depending on which cop is on duty, some will give you a tough time about being there. If you have a camera and stuff and they can see your not a vandal they really won't bother much.

Went up there yesterday. Luckily I missed the storm.

I didn't have any problems getting in and the lady in the office was pretty cool about going to the colliery. I took some awesome pictures. Cops giving me a hard time, well, I didn't get bothered. I talked to some locals and they told me the cops could care less about you being back here, as long as your not destroying anything and causing trouble. My buddy and I are going back there to explore some more.

Anyways, just thought I would post my findings.
